A permanent "sad" expression is often caused by the Depressor Anguli Oris (DAO) muscle pulling the corners of the mouth downwards. By relaxing this specific muscle with toxin, we release the downward anchor, allowing the corners of the mouth to lift back to a neutral or positive position.
